This is Charlie, our Newfoundland. We are adopting him from Brenda Matheny of Brenrich Newfoundlands. (Shown above with Chuck).
Isn't he beautiful? He is 120 pounds of slobbery love and his parents were both from fine bloodlines!
He has seen hard days (neglect/life-worn) and needed a gentle home.

Good for you! All our dogs have been rescue animals. It feels good to give them a safe home, and they return the favor in so many ways.

Steve,
Thanks for the encouragement. Charlie is a lot of fun and he's still getting comfortable here. All in all he's a great dog. Now the three cats are a little skittish still. Life is exciting!
Congratulations.

The Karazans newfy blog is great. The "tongue out" pictures make me laugh. I was almost in tears after looking at your pictures.
Congratulations to Charlie on finding a fabulous home!! He looks great, Chuck. A little small for a big dog... he he (I have 2 English Mastiffs) Just kidding. He's absolutely beautiful.
Linda
Thanks Linda,
Charlie is a little on the small side for a Newfoundland at 120 lbs (did I just say that?). He's great buddy and filled with extra love.
